  • Dried Corn Silk powder: 2 tbsp
  • Water: 2cups
  • Honey/Lemon/Ginger: As per taste

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, take two cups of water and two teaspoons of dried corn silk and bring them to a boil.
  • Once it begins to boil, lower the flame. Allow the mixture to simmer for the next ten minutes.
  • You can add ginger if you prefer it for flavoring.
  • After it has simmered, turn off the flame. Let the mixture cool down for a few minutes. Cover with a lid.
  • Add lemon and/or honey as per your taste.
  • Strain and serve.

Adding milk to this tea is not advisable as it loses its nutritional value.
